We were fortunate to recognize some incredible people at our March school board meeting this past Wednesday! 1. Our Amazing HS Cheer team that competed in the state tournament! 2. Our Incredible Daycare Staff - Ashley Callaway, Emily Schaber, and Jamie Wright - each of these wonderful ladies were awarded the Greendevil Pride Award! 3. Our Wonderful HS Band Director Nick Simon, who was also awarded the Greendevil Pride Award We are beyond thankful these wonderful individuals are a part of our Greendevil Family!! #WeAreDayton

Congrats to our DHS FBLA students who competed in the Regional FBLA Competition last week. All of our members did amazing! Sandy Camel Gamboa finished 5th in Personal Finance, Hailey McVey finished 5th in Journalism, and Cheyenne Thompson finished 7th in Financial Math. We also had two students finish in the top three of the entire region and will be competing in the state competition next week. A special congrats to Kaitlin Forbis who finished 3rd in International Business and Izzy Combs who finished 1st in UX Design! Unbelievable work Greendevils!

Exciting volleyball action tonight with our Greendevils playing Ryle HS! Go Devils! 💪🏐💚 #WeAreDayton

Attention all Dayton High School Juniors and Families! All juniors at Dayton HS will be taking the ACT on Tuesday, March 11th. All juniors in the state of Kentucky are required to take the ACT regardless of postsecondary plans. Students who attend the ATC, Gateway, Skilled Trades, or YSA are required to take the ACT at Dayton HS. Each student attending one of the programs mentioned will be excused from their respective program on the day of the ACT – Tuesday, March 11th. All juniors should arrive to school no later than 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11th. The school will be providing a special breakfast beginning at 7:20 a.m. in the library. Students will move to the Board of Education Building at 8:05 to begin making final preparations for the ACT – we plan to start the ACT no later than 8:30 a.m. We encourage each student to give their very best effort, get a good night of sleep before taking the ACT, and to be on time to school on the morning of the ACT. Upon completion of ACT testing, Dayton HS will be taking students out to lunch. Permission forms have been provided to each junior and must be returned to school no later than the morning of the ACT.
