
A Look Back at the First Quarter!
It's been nine weeks since we started the 2024 - 2025 journey together and we are off to a fantastic start!!!
Let's take a look at some highlights from the first quarter to celebrate all the great happenings at Dayton Schools!



The Dayton XC teams competed on Saturday in the conference Championships at Idlewild Park in Burlington, KY. For the first time in a long time, Dayton was able to enter teams for both the girls and boys races. Special thanks to Mathew Tumler, Elias Lopez-Torres, and Zerdesht Arslan for running their first varsity race of the season.
The middle school and elementary XC teams ran on Thursday at Pendery Park in the Campbell County Championships. Many individual medals and a second place team trophy for the elementary girls:

Morgan Sumpter
Good luck to the XC Team as they compete in the Regional Race on October 26th at Williamstown, KY.





The varsity senior Cross Country runners were recognized this past Wednesday at Walton Verona. Following the recognition, they ran a 3200m race where several personal records were set. We want to congratulate seniors Joel Bryant, Addison Clifton, and Cayden Evans on an amazing senior year!

Congratulations to our Greendevil volleyball team on their victory over Bellevue tonight! A big congrats to senior Mackenzie Sullivan for earning dig number 1,000 during the victory!!

To commemorate 90 years of playing at Davis Field, we are having a competition amongst the decades of Greendevils!
Please represent your decade by attending the game and being recognized at halftime!!!


Congrats to our 7th and 8th volleyball teams on winning their grade level championships last night!!!

Congrats to the Cross Country team who had another successful meet this weekend!!! All Dayton runners competed with many seeing season best in time and place.
The following runners earned a medal for their finish:
Varsity 5K Race = Cayden Evans - 6th place finish and a season best time
Elementary 3K Race
Dylan Downard - 14th place
Ashton Clifton - 3rd place
Sophia Bays - 1st place AGAIN this week for the second week in a row
The elementary and middle school runners will be in Alexandria, KY next Saturday for the Saint Invitational.
