SMS (Texting) Privacy Policy
Communicating with parents via SMS in Kentucky now requires extra care due to Senate Bill 181 (SB 181), which went into effect in 2025. This law mandates that all electronic communications between school staff and students be "traceable," but it also shifts the standard for how districts handle parent-facing communication platforms.
