This week is Homecoming Week at Dayton High School!! To get excited for Homecoming, we participate in schoolwide themes each day. Wednesday's theme was Iconic Duos and our Media Team captured a couple great moments of school spirit that are both interesting and amazing! #WeAreDayton

What a WIN for the Lady Greendevils!?! They beat Villa Madonna in a 5 game thriller. After overcoming some early adversity, the girls fought back to force a game 5 and win 15-11. Extremely proud to be a Greendevil tonight! Congrats girls!! #WeAreDayton

Homecoming Football Game vs. Ludlow on Friday, September 12th at 7:00 p.m. - Greendevil Stadium.

Homecoming Parade Route:

Parade will begin at 5:30
Parade will start at Davis Field
Walk Down Vine Street
Turn Right onto 6th Avenue
Walk to Wayfarer Pizza/Hometown Heroes and turn left on Berry Street
Turn Right on 5th Avenue in front of St. Bernard Church
Turn Left onto Greendevil Lane
Parade into Greendevil Stadium

This past Saturday, the Dayton cross country team traveled to Goshen, KY to run the Rumble in the Jungle meet. It was a great day of nice weather, team bonding, and fast running with many runners seeing new personal bests. They race again Saturday, September 20 at Williamstown high school. Go Devils!

Our Greendevil soccer team is playing in the St. Elizabeth Girls Soccer Game of the month against Bellevue...currently 0-0 with 10:00 to go in the first half!! Go Devils!!! #WeAreDayton

Today Ms. Russell's science students had fun testing how yeast and sugar react in different water temperatures. Warm water made the yeast bubble more, cold water slowed it down — just like how decomposition in the Arctic speeds up when it warms! A fun experiment with a big real-world connection! #WeAreDayton
