If you are attending a game or school event, please enter through the Main Entrance Doors to the high school and walk through the 1st floor hallway to the gymnasium or other specified point of destination. We will no longer be using the alley way and entering through the cafeteria doors. Please follow the signage outside the main entrance to the high school Thank you!

What a way to start off the 2025-26 school year! The DHS Seniors celebrated their "last first day of school" during the very first Senior Sunrise Breakfast at Greendevil Stadium. This is an amazing group that we are happy to call Greendevils and the leaders of our building! #WeAreDayton

Good morning, Greendevils! We are so excited that school starts this week! We can't wait to have our Greendevils back in the building. Just a quick reminder about some of our start dates:
-All DHS students start school on Wednesday, 8/13 @ 8am. Doors open at 7:30am for breakfast.
-All DHS ATC Juniors start school out at Campbell County Area Technology Center on Wednesday, 8/13. The bus will leave at 7:15am.
-All DHS ATC Senior students and Junior Nursing students going out to the Campbell County Area Technology Center start on Wednesday, 8/13. The bus will leave at 11am. Thees students are still expected at DHS on Wednesday morning for their DHS classes.
-All Gateway & Enzweiler courses start on Monday, 8/18, but these students are still expected at DHS on Wednesday, 8/13, for their DHS classes.
-All DHS YSA students start school on Monday, 8/18 @ Northern Kentucky University.

Orientation Night at Dayton High School was a success. We welcomed our incoming 7th graders. Students attending Gateway, ATC (vocational school), and School to Work seniors were able to learn more about their respective programs as we begin the 2025-2026 school year. We are excited to welcome back all Greendevils on Wednesday, August 13th. Let's go Devils!
The DHS cross country ran their first meet of the 2025 season at Masterson Station in Lexington this past Saturday. They run again at Trimble County on Saturday, August 16.

Family Engagement Days - Dayton High School
We are excited and ready for our first Family Engagement Days and the opportunity to meet with and check in on ALL middle/high school students and their families.
On Thursday, August 7th, from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., and Friday, August 8th, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Dayton High will be hosting its first Family Engagement Days for our students, families, teachers, and staff. The goal of these meetings will be to welcome all our new and returning students, offer students their schedules for the school year, hand out all necessary back-to-school paperwork, and continue to build strong partnerships between home and school in order to enhance the school experience for EACH of our students.
You will receive one of these emails per child you have enrolled in middle/high school. Each email will include a link to sign that child up depending on their grade level for a sit-down meeting at times that work best for you. We need every student to please try to attend these check-in meetings with their family and teachers. Once you sign up, you will know when your meeting is, but you will not know which teacher you will be meeting with until arrival on Thursday, August 7th, or Friday, August 8th.
