Dr. Chris Wright

Dr. Christopher Wright

Director of Teaching & Learning

Dr. Wright has been with Dayton Schools for the past 5 years serving as the assistant principal at Dayton High School. Prior to that, he taught English at Ludlow High School for 11 years. While at Ludlow, he earned the Kentucky Council of Teachers English State Teacher Award in 2018. He was also head coach of Varsity Cross Country, Track and Field, and assistant coach of Basketball and Football. Outside of the education world, Dr. Wright currently serves as the mayor of Ludlow, KY. Dr. Wright brings a variety of strengths including his love of learning, positivity, and relationship building which will serve him well in his new position.
