Emergency Mental Health Services

If you have an emergency, call 911. If you are considering taking your child to the hospital and are unsure call our 24 Hour ACCESS Team or the PIRC Hotline.  If your child is not in immediate danger but needs to speak with someone we have provided several hotline numbers below.

Psychiatric Intake Response Center

PIRC is dedicated to providing high-quality evaluations and access to mental health services across the entire continuum of care. The service provides the community with reliable, professional triage and assessment by licensed independent behavioral health clinicians with more than 150 years of combined experience. Anyone with mental health questions is encouraged to contact the PIRC at 513-636-4124. The PIRC is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, year-round. 

24 Hour ACCESS TEAM/Emergency Services

When a problem arises unexpectedly, it is important and comforting to know that help is available. NorthKey’s 24-hour triage and emergency assessment services are ready and available when needed. Our crisis services are responsive to your mental health, substance use and intellectual and developmental disabilities concerns. Our crisis therapists consult, evaluate and respond quickly to your needs.

NorthKey crisis staff coordinates with callers, families, community emergency responders and hospital staff to make necessary decisions for a safe and secure outcome for the individual, family and community. These crisis services may be delivered by phone triage, face-to-face assessment and treatment, consultation with other treatment professionals and, at times, via a telehealth (video) connection.
