Youth Services Centers were created as part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act. The goal of the Youth Services Center is to meet the needs of all children and their families served by the Center as a means to enhance student academic success.  Dayton Independent Youth Services Center provides support and services to students in grades 7-12 and their families regardless of age, race, religion, gender, or income level.

Center Services

• Referrals to community agencies for health, social services, and mental health issues
• Substance abuse education, evaluation, and counseling
• Employment development and placement
• Teen parent resources
• Assistance with crisis funding if funding is available
• Skill building and support groups and activities for students and families

8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

• Representative from the Boone County Sheriff’s Dept. will review information that will help parents keep children safe while using the internet and other technology.
