1) Real World Design Challenge Scholarship - $50,000 - 7 Awards (Deadline: November 17, 2017)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) Be currently enrolled in grade nine, ten, eleven or twelve. Students enrolled in school environments with alternative grade or level designations must be engaged in a program of study equivalent to the corresponding high school grade level.

2) Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship - $50,000 - 500 Awards (Deadline: November 30, 2017)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) Be any high school senior who is a citizen of the United States is eligible to apply.

B) Applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks.

3) Points Scholarship - $10,000 - 10 Awards (Deadline: November 30, 2017)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) Be at least 13 years old and enrolled or will enroll in a college or university in the US.

B) Be a legal resident of the U.S. or Puerto Rico.

Thus far, they have given away more than $650,000 to students through this scholarship program.

4) Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarships - $5,000 - 5 Awards (Deadline: December 5, 2017)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) Be enrolled in an accredited educational institution (kindergarten through graduate school) in the United States. All applicants must be ages 5-25.

B) Have demonstrated on-going commitment to their community by performing unpaid volunteer services impacting hunger in the United States within the last 12 months.

5) AXA Achievement Scholarships - $25,000 - 52 Awards (Deadline: December 15, 2017)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) Be United States citizens or legal residents living or claiming residency in one of the 50 united states, Washington, D.C. or Puerto Rico

B) Be current high school seniors who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college

6) Easton / NFAA Scholarship Program - $5,000 - 5 Awards (Deadline: December 31, 2017)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) High school applicants must be applying to be full time students at a two or four-year college/university or a technical training college.

7) Harris Poll Scholarship - $1,000 – 1 Award (Deadline: December 31, 2017)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) A legal resident of the 50 United States and DC who are:

8) Thiel Fellowship - $100,000 - 30 Awards (Deadline: December 31, 2017)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) Be interested in building new things. Founded by technology entrepreneur and investor Peter Thiel in 2011.

The Thiel Fellowship is a two-year program that offers 20-30 fellowships in the value of $100,000 over a two year period.

9) VIP Scholarship - $5,000 - 1 Award (Deadline: January 31, 2018)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) Be at least 13 years of age or older.

B) Submit your entry by 11:59 pm ET on the day of the deadline.

10) Union Plus Scholarship - $4,000 - 100 Awards (Deadline: January 31, 2018)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) Current and retired members of participating unions, their spouses and their dependent children (as defined by IRS regulations).

B) At least one year of continuous union membership by the applicant, applicant's spouse or parent (if applicant is a dependent).

Cincinnati Children's 2017 Summer Sickle Cell Science Program - This 8 week program offers a chance to learn, explore, and gain hands on experience in a medical center research lab.  If you are interested in a medical career, then this opportunity is for you.  Applications are available in the guidance office.  Application deadline is March 10, 2017

Building Peace Through Diplomacy National High School Essay Contest - This contest is sponsored by the American Foreign Service Association.  The winner receives $2,500, a trip to Washington, D.C to meet the Secretary of State and a full scholarship for a Semester at Sea educational voyage.  Visit www.afsa.org/essaycontest for more information.  Application deadline is March 15, 2017

Campbell County Cooperative Extension Homemakers Scholarship - The Campbell County Cooperative Extension Homemakers are offering the Elizabeth A. Porter/Gladys M. Lickert Scholarship ($500.00) to any high school senior who is a Campbell County resident and will be attending a college or university in Kentucky.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office and are due to Ms. Newsome no later than March 25, 2017.

Kentucky Manufactured Housing Institute - The Kentucky Manufactured Housing Institute is offering (7) $1000 scholarships to high school seniors who currently live in modular, manufactured, or  mobile homes.  Applications are available in the guidance office.  Application deadline is March 25, 2017.

Kentucky Federation of Republican Women Scholarship - The Kentucky Federation of Republican Women grants a $1,000 scholarship to a college-bound high school senior girl who has been politically active within the Republian Party.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office.  Completed applications are due to Ms. Newsome no later than March 27, 2017

James F. Bertsch Memorial Scholarship - This $2500 scholarship opportunity is available to a graduating senior who will be attending Thomas More College.  Applicants are to have participated in school extracurricular activities, demonstrated leadership qualities, as well as volunteerism within the community.  Please visit the guidance office for application information.  Application deadline is April 10, 2017.

B. Davis Scholarship - A $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior. Visit  http://www.studentawardsearch.com/scholarships.htm for more infomation.  Application deadline is May 22, 2017

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship - Abbott and Fenner business consultants are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their scholarship program.  They will be awarding up to $1000 to the winner.  Students must submit an essay on the topic that appears on the scholarship page of the website http://www.abbottandfenner.com/scholarships.htm .  Application deadline is May 25, 2017
